Calling all Men:

MIA meets every second Saturday of the month for

bible study and breakfast at Cornerstone Fellowship Church (8:00 A.M.) !

Real Men Worship and Serve their God and His Son Jesus Christ!

Our “Men In Action” ministry is designed to challenge men and to

grow them in their faith in God and Jesus Christ. “MIA” provides opportunties

for them to use their gifts and talents in the market place of life as men of

God. Through solid bible study, and small group gatherings, MIA offers scriptural

principles from which men can develop their lives as godly men, godly husbands,

godly fathers, godly grandfathers and godly examples in every walk of life.

“MIA’s” are proud to serve their families, their church, each other and their communties

as ambassadors for Jesus Christ. Through MIA, real men serve their God and His son Jesus

Christ without apology!

If the judge let him go free, would you say he was a good judge or a bad judge?” …”because the Bible says that God is a good judge, and He will punish the guilty, not for what they did right, but for what they did wrong. Because He loves us, He sent his son, Jesus Christ, to take the punishment that we deserved, and put it on Himself, and that’s why He died on the cross. But it only applies, if you accept it. That’s why I asked for his forgiveness. I asked Him to save me. And I’m a new man because of Christ. You understand what I’m telling you? Then what’s holding you back?”

Children’s Ministries

“Ministering To All Ages”

On Sunday Mornings we have Sunday School and bible studies for all ages. We have a Junior church

program for children 10 and under during our morning worship service. Junior church is designed

to teach Kids God’s word.

On Wednesday evenings, we have our “Tweens Involved” children’s group for kids 6 – 11.

This group is designed with games, fun, food, great fellowship and challenging bible studies for

elementary and middle school aged kids.

“Children are a heritage from God and happy are the

parents who have their quiver full of them”

OPPORTUNITIES FOR KIDS

Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m.

Sunday Morning Worship begins at 11:00 a.m.

Junior Church for kids 8 yrs and below 11:20 a.m.

Wednesday Evening “Tweens & Teens” 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

We had a great time this summer with our Vacation Bible School learning about the word of God, if you missed being with us plan on attending next summer 2012 for our next great adventure. Here is a hint about what we will be doing “ it is going to be out of this world”…

We can not believe we are already planning next years, if you are interested in volunteering please see Kim Bishop or Patty Howell. We have lots to do to get ready for next summer’s Vacation Bible School, and hope that the coming year is going to be even better then last years if that is possible..

Mark your calendars Vacation Bible School will be held 6/18/11 thru 6/22/11.

KIDS FINDING THEMSELVES

For Teens serious about Jesus Christ!

Our weekly youth group (“Teens Involved”) is designed with the young believing teen in mind. Each week, we challenge teens to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. Through challenging youth oriented bible studies, and teen interaction, teens learn the value of understanding and learning to apply the truths from the word of God to their daily lives.

Their faith becomes a way of life, and not just abstract religious teachings. With crowd breaker games, refreshment time, prayer and sharing time, and a praise and worship time.

Our teens are challenged to be actively involved in church ministries.

TEENS INVOLVED MEETS EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

How can I go to heaven?

How can I go to heaven?

“I am the resurrection and the life; he that believes in me, though he was already dead, yet shall he be made alive. Whoever lives and believes in me shall never die, you must believe this!”

QUESTION: How can I know, that if I die, I can go to heaven and not hell?

KNOWING YOU ARE SAVED AND GOING TO HEAVEN IS AS EASY AS A,B.C!

1.) Admit you are a sinner, and understand that

because of your sin you are doomed to death

and hell for eternity.

(Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23)

2.) Believe that Jesus Christ (God’s only SON) died

on the cross of Calvary 2000+ years ago, to pay

the death penalty for your sins.

(Romans 5:8)

3.) Confess your sins to God, turn from your sinful

ways (Repent) and pray to God to come into

your heart and life and save you for Jesus sake.

(Romans 10:9,10)

Scriptural Explaination: THE BIBLE TEACHES ,

WE ARE ALL SINNERS:

Romans 3:23 says; “For all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.”

THE RESULTS OF OR SIN IS DEATH, HELL AND ETERNAL SEPARATION FROM GOD

Romans 6:23 states; “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift from God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”.

GOD LOVES US AND THEREFORE HE SENT HIS BELOVED SON JESUS CHRIST TO THIS EARTH TO DIE FOR OUR SINS, AND TO PAY OUR PENALTY OF DEATH FOR OUR SINS.

(Jesus Christ) has everlasting life; and he that believes not the Son (Jesus Christ) shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

YOU MAY ASK; WHEN SHOULD I GET SAVED? THE ANSWER; RIGHT NOW! YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU MIGHT DIE, OR BE KILLED IN AN ACCIDENT. AFTER THAT, IT IS ETERNALLY TOO LATE!

Romans 5:8 says; “But God commended His love toward us, that even while we were sinners, Jesus Christ came and died for us.”

John 3:16 states; “For God so loved the world that he gave us his only beloved Son, that whomsoever should believe in him should not perish but should have eternal life.

TO RECEIVE THE PENALTY PAYMENT FOR OUR SINS, THAT WAS PROVIDED BY JESUS CHRIST, WE MUST NOT ONLY BELIEVE IN GOD, BUT WE MUST TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST AND HIS COMPLETED PAYMENT BY DYING ON THE CROSS.

Romans 10:9 & 10 says; “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you willbe saved. For with the heart men and women believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.”

GOD’S FREE GIFT IS SAVING US, IF WE ARE WILLING TO SURRENDER TO HIM, AND BELIEVE IN HIS SON. GOD TAKES GREAT JOY IN SAVING US IF WE TRUST JESUS CHRIST TO SAVE US FROM OUR SINS, (BEING BORN AGAIN). WE MUST TURN FROM OUR SINFUL WAYS, (REPENT) AND THEN SURRENDER OUR LIVES TO HIM AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, IF WE WANT ETERNAL LIFE.

Ephesians 2:8 & 9 states; “By grace are you saved, through faith, and not of yourselves, it is the free gift of God, not by your works lest we should boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, (Born again as children of God), unto good works. (Serving God and Jesus Christ).

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEING SAVED AND GOING TO HEAVEN AND BEING LOST AND GOING TO HELL IS SIMPLE! THE BIBLE STATES;

John 3:36 He that believes on the Son shall have life and he that beleives not on the son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

WE NEVER KNOW WHEN WE MIGHT DIE, OR BE KILLED IN AN ACCIDENT. IF YOU DIE WITHOUT SURRENDERING YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST, IT WILL BE TOO LATE TO BE SAVED, AND YOU WILL GO TO HELL FOREVER AND EVER.
